Mark Salevitz is a true Renaissance man, gracing the world of medicine and art with his immense talent. His impressionist paintings are vivid and emotionally moving. I was privileged to have Mark illustrate my poetry book, A Brighter TOMORROW. The book contains a poem entitled The Artist, inspired by Mark's beautiful artwork.
The Artist
His paintbrush swirls in magnificent hues,
Guided by the environment's cues.
Inspired by the legends of Impressionism,
Monet and Renoir infuse him with wisdom.
His deepest thoughts are revealed by each stroke.
The viewers' emotions are strongly evoked.
The artist and audience are destined to be one.
The painting's beauty as bright as the sun.
An endless palette of brilliant color,
Creates a new world to discover.

By a masterpiece expertly adorned.
