Francisco Peinado, es un pintor y grabador español que consiguió plasmar el mundo que iba descubriendo con su mirada ágil, profunda, cargada de ironía y rebelión gracias a su enorme sensibilidad artística. So obra destaca por la calidad de su diseño y el dominio de una técnica que conoce y emplea para expresar matices exquisitos, tanto en la composición como en el color. Así, construye paisajes, personajes y objetos con fuerte carga onírica, fantasmal, inquietante. Un lenguaje de soledad y aislamiento que se rompe en trazos de ironía y desconcierto. Su pintura ha discurrido por caminos figurativos hasta la década de los noventa del siglo pasado, en que se abrió a la abstracción, seguramente como necesidad de profundizar en la pura pintura, volviendo después al mundo de las cosas, las historias y la naturaleza que sigue desarrollando a través de imágenes de pintura imaginativa, simbólica y social, con un dibujo de ritmo calmo que puede convertirse en un momento dado, en vertiginoso y desconcertante. En sus cuadros hay mucho de poeta que acepta a regañadientes el entrañable vaivén de su vida sin renunciar nunca a su faceta inconformista.
