Vendu: " buy golden fruits" Painting by Michael Wong Loi Sing

Michael Wong Loi Sing grew up in a family of artists, writers, ceramicists and painters. He stands out for his own style: where the material can be ephemeral, and where the transmission of ideas and communication are essential.
Communication via images, symbols, and tones have always fascinated him. His paintings and other artistic creations are proof of a desire to make the work itself speak.
What are our perceptions, how do colors impact us?
When he studied Kandinsky's theories (über das geistige in der kunst) he realized that his quest was already that of his predecessors.
Joseph Beuys' approach intrigues him, his freedom, spirituality and ability to transform any object into art.

Always looking for originality, he was initially disappointed when a collector compared his first works with those of Marc Chagall. It was only after seeing the work of this great Master, in Switzerland, that he understood the immense compliment.

He makes sure to keep his wells of inspiration active and open, doing research. He literally cooks some of his paintings, playing alchemist with pigments and different techniques. and explores the transformation of materials by time, gravity, mold and light.
The exhibition in Amsterdam, at the Stedelijk Museum, for the twenty years of Independence of Suriname in 1995, opened a window into the world of art.
Sharing is living, when an artist presents a work, he shares it, he communicates his philosophy of life. Art for him is therefore firstly hermeneutic, then attracting, challenging and confirming.
Just like his origins, which are Chinese, African, Caucasian, and Native American, he has several styles and expresses himself in a very diverse way.
