"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Mica approche la peinture avec sagesse et retenue. Il est attiré par la ligne, par la lumière, et, en contemplant ses toiles, nous sentons aussi sa profonde implication dans la matière. C’est en effet par une grande attention qu’il porte à l’armature de notre monde que l’artiste peintre – qui se décrit volontiers comme artisan en ce qu’il produit un objet de ses mains, par son savoir-faire acquis par la pratique – construit ses toiles. Par le biais de l’abstraction il s’exprime, et de cet expressionnisme abstrait des premières heures il a glissé vers un lyrisme des textures et des couleurs. Toujours, dans un premier temps, la ligne, la première, l’originelle, la fondatrice qui va annoncer l’édifice pictural achevé.
Pour terminer ses tableaux, Mica n’établit pas une feuille de route, pas de cahier des charges : c’est la complétude, l’intégrité de l’objet d’art engendré par le labeur et le temps investi pour l’œuvre, qui déterminent la fin du travail. De fait, son activité de peintre n’est pas seulement dilettantisme inspiré : remarqué dès ses cours d’arts plastiques par un professeur qui le fait découvrir le monde de l’art, il commence par aborder Miro et puis glisse, lentement, suivant le rythme de la vie, vers la mise en application de cette certitude qu’il ressent : il a des choses à peindre. Moins que de véritables prétentions à communiquer une vision du monde, il s’agit plutôt d’un acte de l’ordre du don, du don de ce qu’il se sent en mesure de faire. Et qu’il fait. Chacune des toiles représente un élan premier qui s’est fait développer des mains expertes de l’homme qui vit la peinture, qui la respecte et la comprend en la faisant. En explorateur, il ouvre sa voie dans l’art pictural en impliquant au-delà des brosses ou couteaux, du sable, du bois, de la poudre de marbre… Artiste, peintre, artisan, Mica nous offre une peinture pleine, vivante, et qui nous ouvre des portes vers des rivages inconnus et pourtant si personnels.
