Valerio Scarapazzi
Born in Rome in 1978, since childhood we understand that he is endowed with the sacred fire of art, therefore choosing higher studies at the Primo Liceo Artistico in Rome, following above all the teachings of the masters Renzogallo and Bruno Conte, where then he graduated brilliantly. His artistic career thus began shortly thereafter.
Among the most important exhibitions are Telethon 2002, Work in Progress in Via Margutta (RM), the 2003 Rome Nature National Award (winner of the audience award), the Gran Premio Marco Aurelio (RM), New Italian Renaissance (RM), Italy Award for the Visual Arts (winner of the under 30 award in 2005, 2006 and 2007), Spoleto Festival Art (2014), Exhibition Market in Budapest (2016), "In Fabrica", personal painting exhibition at the White Cloud Studio, Rome (2017), Art Biennale, Viterbo, Palazzo Dei Priori, curated by Apai Arte (2018), Libertad Mi Frida, Sala Baldini, Rome, curated by Claudia Esposito (10/11/2019); #r_existiamo virtual group exhibition, then real, curated by Penelope Filacchione - ArtSharing (April - September 2020); L'UOMO COL NOSE UP, virtual collective exhibition curated by Cartoline Volanti (June 2020) ; COEX 2020 at Palazzo Ruspoli in Nemi, collective exhibition curated by Monica Bisin (September 2020).
In 2006 it was included and listed in the well-known art yearbook ''IL QUADRATO'' of Milan. From 2008 to today he has dedicated himself, in addition to bodypainting, working together with some photographers, also to teaching the basics of drawing, from life and not, as well as making numerous extemporaneous painting and drawing exhibitions during musical and theatrical events, such as the one at the Concert of S. Stefano, at the Ara Coeli, in 2009 in Rome. In 2010 he made extemporaneous sketches in the "JAZZ AL CENTRO" review, organized, in the exhibition, by the "NERO SU BIANCO" bookshop and by the "METROMORFOSI" magazine in Rome. He always proposes himself in the capital, as a live painter at the Celimontana Jazz Festival, gaining important visibility and continuous success. From the end of the same year he began to collaborate as an illustrator with the magazine El Tanguero, and from March 2012 again as an illustrator, with the well-known artist, actress and director Virginia Barrett. In 2014 he won the Pink Floyd Theme Exhibition competition exhibiting the work "Astronomy Domine" in Venice. In 2015 he was hired as a portraitist on stage for the show "Tango Cabaret" by Stefania Corradetti, at the Salone Margherita. He was a guest of the Tg2 Insieme show as an impromptu artist. He then illustrates "Tango Tehran", a novel by Ermanno Felli, and since 2017 he has been teaching painting at UPTER. In 2018 he teaches watercolor at the Center for Socio-Cultural Activities at a branch of the Bank of Italy, where he also exhibits some works for the solo show "Anthological Five". Also in 2018 he participates in the Rome Art Week event. He currently lives and works in Rome.

Valerio Scarapazzi
Nato a Roma nel 1978, sin dall'infanzia si capisce che è dotato del sacro fuoco dell'Arte, scegliendo quindi gli studi superiori presso il Primo Liceo Artistico di Roma, seguendo soprattutto gli insegnamenti dei maestri Renzogallo e Bruno Conte, dove poi si diploma brillantemente. Inizia così il suo cammino artistico realizzando lavori talvolta surrealisti, ''onirici'' e segretamente inquieti.
Mentre il romanticismo del paesaggista romano si intravede nella linea godibilissima dei suoi acquerelli, cromaticamente precisi ed eleganti, Valerio Scarapazzi dimostra di poter diventare una luminosa stella del futuro firmamento artistico. (Nanni Latini)
Pittore e disegnatore, il giovane artista viene scelto per illustrare album musicali di produzione privata, spaziando dal bianco e nero al colore, unendo il tratto grafico ad un tocco sensibilmente interpretativo.

Nel 2006 viene inserito e quotato nel noto annuario d'arte ''IL QUADRATO'' di Milano.
Dal 2008 ad oggi si dedica , oltre che al bodypainting, lavorando insieme ad alcuni photographers, anche all'insegnamento delle basi del disegno, dal vero e non, nonchè realizza numerosissime extemporanee di pittura e disegno durante eventi musicali e teatrali , come quella al Concerto di S. Stefano, presso l'Ara Coeli, nel 2009 a Roma.
Nel 2010 realizza dei bozzetti in extemporanea nella rassegna "JAZZ AL CENTRO" ,organizzata, nella mostra, dalla dalla libreria "NERO SU BIANCO" e dalla rivista "METROMORFOSI" di Roma. Si propone sempre nella capitale, come live painter al Celimontana Jazz Festival riscuotendo un'importante visibilità e un continuo successo.
Dalla fine dello stesso anno comincia a collaborare come illustratore con la rivista El Tanguero, e dal marzo 2012 sempre come illustratore, con la nota artista , attrice e regista Virginia Barrett.
Nel 2014 vince il concorso Mostra a Tema Pink Floyd esponendo l'opera "Astronomy Domine" a Venezia.
Nel 2015 viene scritturato come ritrattista in scena per lo spettacolo "Tango Cabaret" di Stefania Corradetti, presso il Salone Margherita.
E' stato ospite della trasmissione Tg2 Insieme come disegnatore estemporaneo.
Illustra poi "Tango Teheran", romanzo di Ermanno Felli , e dal 2017 è docente di pittura presso l' UPTER.
Nel 2018 insegna acquerello presso il Centro per le Attività Socio Culturali presso una sede della Banca D'Italia, ove espone anche alcuni lavori per la personale “Antologicacinque”.
Sempre nel 2018 partecipa all' evento Rome Art Week.
Attualmente vive e lavora a Roma, prosegue la sua attività itinerante di disegnatore e pittore dal vivo durante eventi culturali, principalmente musicali e teatrali.
