Maribel D' Gazzaniga

Artista Plástico egresada de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas Arturo Michelena en Valencia, Venezuela. Mi proceso artístico está alimentado por el interés en momentos vividos, por pensamientos que se unen a la vida misma, donde la memoria es la encargada de comunicar un tiempo irrepetible, dándole un significado a la creación de imágenes y objetos visualmente llenos de color, poéticos, emocionantes que provocan algún tipo de reacción, donde el espectador sea partícipe activo de la construcción de la obra como forma de expresión del pensamiento.
El interés se centra en reflexionar e investigar cómo puedo por medio del color y del lenguaje de la mancha, hacer desviar la mirada del objeto en su carácter “macro” y dejar que se pose y centre en las formas. Me ha inspirado en gran manera los impresionistas con el uso del color, luz, pinceladas, contrastes y la representación de la realidad sin reparar en la identidad de lo que proyectaban.
En estos últimos anos, he cultivado una práctica artística diversa utilizando varias disciplinas para expresar mi creación; tal como pintura, dibujo, collage, instalaciones, con material reciclable y fotografía. Considero que, continúo en formación, exploración e investigación, cuestionando el hecho creativo para involucrar al espectador en una conversación visual.
My artistic process is fueled by interest in vivid moments, thoughts that bind to life itself, where memory is responsible for communicating a unique time, giving meaning to the imaging and visually colorful objects, poetic , exciting causing some reaction, where the viewer is active in the construction of the work as an expression of thought participant.
The focus is on how I think and investigate through color and language of the stain, do look away from the object in its "macro" character and let it pose and focus on the forms. I greatly inspired the Impressionists with the use of color, light strokes, contrasts and representation of reality regardless of the identity of that cast.
In recent years, I have cultivated a diverse artistic practice using various disciplines to express my creation; such as painting, drawing, collage, installation, and photography with recyclable material. I believe that I continue in training, exploration and research, questioning the creative act to engage the viewer in a visual conversation.
