Michele Mazzitelli e' Nato a Genova il 27 Luglio 1962; risiede ad Albissola Marina in provincia di Savona, localita’ nota per le ceramiche artistiche. Ha da sempre coltivato la passione per le arti figurative; inizia a dipingere attivamente nel 1994 in tecnica olio su tela. I primi lavori sono in stile figurativo, generalmente paesaggi della riviera Ligure ed alcune rielaborazioni di dipinti dell'800. Dopo una pausa di qualche anno, spinto da un crescente interesse ed entusiasmo per i Maestri delle avanguardie del '900, ha cominciato a dipingere in uno stile di tipo astratto surreale. Ha partecipato tra le mostre collettive piu' recenti alla mostra internazionale "Arte e Cultura nel Mondo" presso il Deposito di Santa Caterina a Genova.
Ampia, nelle sue tele, la rappresentazione di una realta' onirica "vista" con un particolare uso del colore a forte densita', in figure spiccatamente geometriche. Esse rivelano, sul piano in movimento, l'immagine, complessa e visionaria, a volte frammentata a volte addolcita da evidenze cromatiche originali, ottenendo una sorta di ordine compositivo di particolare efficacia. Mazzitelli e' preso da intensa passione e gusto per la ricerca, che non smette di esprimersi nei suoi lavori di grandi dimensioni, dove la narrazione dell'idea soggettiva mista al suo stato d'animo, pare non avere confini ne' limiti alla storia da raccontare.
