La célèbre Rue St Dominique mérite amplement d'y consacrer une partie de son temps si l'on veut découvrir ou profiter d'un des endroits animés de la vie parisienne sous de multiples aspects. Sa proximité avec la Seine et les Invalides est un indéniable atout supplémentaire je vous conseille de commencer la visite de cette rue d'Est en Ouest afin que vous puissiez finir la visite de cette rue par un accès direct au Champ de Mars, puis sur la Tour Eiffel. Je ne suis pas sûre que cela soit très utile de commencer la visite depuis le tout commencement (donc depuis la station de métro "Solférino" à peu près) car il n'y a pas grand chose de ce côté-là. Seul point intéressant et pas des moindres: passage obligé devant les Invalides pour rallier l'autre côté de la rue. Et oui, car cette rue "se coupe" un peu en 2; le milieu étant l'Hôtel des Invalides. De l'autre côté, vous trouverez une rue agréable avec tout ce qui peut plaire & être utile à tout le monde: des petits bistrots, des hôtels, des petits commerces de quartier, une boutique SNCF, un pub irlandais, des coiffeurs, des magasins de vêtements/chaussures etc., des parfumeries, des supermarchés, un Starbucks et à la toute fin de la rue des boutiques de souvenirs. Par ailleurs, dans un périmètre proche vous croiserez des restaurants renommés tels que: "Café Constant", "le Violon d'Ingres", "la Fontaine de Mars". Une rue vraiment pleine de charme, très commerçante et qui a l'avantage de pouvoir plaire et convenir à la fois aux touristes et aux Parisiens.
