A Venise rien n’a changé.

VENETIAN REVERIES 2015
Oil on linen canvas 2x120x80. Made with brush and knife. Song of Yves Duteil Venice. As emerged from the depths of ages, motionless in his journey, blood and gold mosaic, Venice asked the decor. Everything is for the eye in this theater, the black waters and alabaster walls, illusion, lights and fountains. Everything is there for the staging. In the case of the setting sun, palaces and gulls vying poetry to open the prom night. At a time when the shadows creep, it still floats in the streets the strange and cruel atmosphere of the Medici and Lucrezia. But already the sun rises. The curtain opens on the dream and this is where the city explodes with purple, green and pink. Under the masks farandoles in sliding gondolas, the symphony scrims guitars and mandolins. This is the crowd that takes you randomly bridges and gates, drunk with joy and madness. My God, Venice is pretty. Under the sky floral balconies where you see signs and turn in disarray, while Venice has genius. Then the table back into place. Gradually, madness disappears. Just a whiff fanfare, a few laughs, a step that goes astray. Pontoons means moan, it's winter in the Bridge of Sighs. A boat that goes to the islands. The hours pass at Campanile. In Venice nothing has changed. Even the centuries have left beautiful cracks in the walls of the houses, the time has never been right. Neither the splendor of the carnival or stones or bacchanalia of Vérosène or yours tee. Neither the old crystal chandeliers Already the sun dreams, Venice once again rises. A new facades explode with purple, green and pink masks Sub farandoles in sliding gondolas, the symphony scrims, guitars and mandolins. This is the crowd that takes you randomly bridges and gates, drunk with joy and madness. My God, Venice is pretty. Under the sky floral balconies where you see signs and turn in disarray, is hell or heaven that leads to the end of the night. Venice then has genius.
