Description de la série :

Photographer born in 1982, he has been based in Bordeaux since 2013, after numerous residencies in France and travels to the four corners of the world. It is in the face of this variety of living spaces and the wealth of those who inhabit them that he perceives the territory and the urban environment that they occupy through alteration. Opting for a photograph between objectivity and subjectivity, he questions the place of Man in this society that he shapes, our lifestyles and their shortcomings.
A scientist by training, Mathieu Coquerelle is also a teacher-researcher in fluid mechanics at an engineering school. From 2012 to 2014, he attended evening classes at the Beaux-Arts in Rennes and also chaired a photography association, 18-55. In 2014, he created the artist collective Minus-Trente-Sept with Pierre Grolier and Kévin Ruellan.
