I have always enjoyed drawing since I was a kid but it is only in 2004 that I discovered Spring Studio in New York where I had the pleasure of drawing from life models surrounded by artists and a wonderful ambiance. I also attended water color classes at Pratt Institute. Few years later I got seduced by the beautiful Pastel medium and have been Pastel painting since then. I have had the privilege to attend workshops with some of my favorites Master Pastellists Penelope Milner, Sophie Amauger, Corry Kooy, Karen Margulis, Alain Picard, Liz Sullivan Haywood and Marla Baggetta whose work inspired me and helped me progress in this wonderful medium.
I love walking and observe nature, immerse myself in its constant changing beauty. I humbly try to translate how I feel when I look at it. Painting light in a landscape is the most challenging thing but the most rewarding.
