"The Horn" of its real name The Matterhorn or Matterhorn in German, horn means horn in German. It is also called the Caillou! The Matterhorn, arguably the most famous mountain in Europe, lifts its majestic profile at an altitude of 4,478 meters, in the heart of a breathtaking Alpine panorama. This pyramid-shaped summit, known to be difficult to climb, is arguably the most photographed mountain in the world. In 1865, two roped parties, one British, the other Italian, attacked the Matterhorn roughly at the same time. The British expedition emerged victorious, reaching the summit less than a day before the Italian roped party. The ascent by the Hörnli ridge from Zermatt on July 14, 1865 was considered the last of the great feats of alpinism in the Alps.

Landscape painted in oil on linen canvas, mounted on a 50x60x2cm frame, allowing the work to be hung immediately.
Does not require any frame but the possibility of a frame.
Table painted black on the sides and varnished.
The canvas is signed on the front lower right.
The title, date and signature are affixed on the back.
Its delivery is free for Switzerland with its certificate of authenticity.
