Inspiration Picture inspired by my husband's old-fashioned machines. Lathes, milling machines, machines for the production of gears. They have complicated shapes, often oval, and make loud but very serious sounds. Such massifs attract me. A thing of the past, but they work reliably for decades. There are traces of touch by several generations.

Gleason
it's a machine from this manufacturer from the 1940s. Still working.

Image
I paint these complex shapes to make them convex on a flat canvas. It doesn't matter to me what it is for. I want real shapes to create an abstract composition of light and shadow.

Exposure
Maybe you have to be a little crazy to hang a painting of the machine in the living room. However, the living room is not always a boring and orderly interior, and even if the painting will cause confusion. Or maybe exhibit it in an industrial factory interior? I leave it to my audience.

I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Faculty of Industrial Design. After graduation, I worked as a graphic designer, currently I design interiors. Recently, I have also returned to painting. I was born in Warsaw, but for many years I have lived in the countryside in an old wooden house. Painting can complement the interior. For now, I am inspired by old machines and I am looking for simple abstract color compositions.
