I made the painting because our hands are one of our most important tools, just as important as our senses. We can do very detailed things with our hands, but we can also touch someone tenderly, make music or speak with our hands. And they are oh! so important when creating a work of art!
Mijn laatste olieverf schilderij . Ik maakte het omdat handen onze belangrijkste werktuigen zijn even belangrijk als onze zintuigen.We kunnen gedetailleerde dingen doen maar evengoed iemand teder aanraken met onze handen , muziek maken zelfs spreken met onze handen. Handen zijn zo belangrijk voor een kunstenaar !

I have been painting all my life, but so far, never showed my work to anyone.
I kept them to myself, on my attick.
Years ago, in an emotional period I destroyed all the works I ever made.
it was a bit of an iconoclasm :-)
But now, life brought me love, peace and tranquility. So I'm painting again.
Because in my attick paintings are piling up again, friends prompted me to show and sell my work, or at least part of it.
So, here I am.
I got a classic art education and love colours.
