C'est en me baladant près de chez moi, sur les côtes bretonnes, que j'ai commencé à ramasser du bois flotté et toutes sortes de choses laissées par la marée. Après un voyage à Venise où j'avais acheté une simple tête en verre posé sur une tige métallique, je me suis dit que ce serait drôle de faire la même chose avec du bois flotté et des objets de récupérations trouvés sur les plages. C'est ainsi que j'ai commencé à donner naissance à toutes sortes de personnages avec des expressions diverses et variées.
