Maria Rosa Astorga was born in Santiago, Chile. He has lived since he was 20 in Oaxaca City, Mexico.
He studied painting in workshops of renowned artists. For more than 20 years he has been painting using different techniques, mastering encaustic, oil and mixed techniques.
Painter of large and medium formats worked with land collected from the region and oils.
He has had outstanding individual exhibitions in the US, Mexico and Chile. His work is part of important collections around the world.
