Małgorzata Krasucka, also known as Margalit, was born in Warsaw in 1952. She was trained by the painter and pedagogue Professor Zygmunt Madejski from 1960 to 1971. From 1971 to 1974 she studied in the workshops of the Professor Janusz Przybylski and Professor Stefan Gierowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1973 she made her professional debut at an exhibition in Lund, Sweden.

She mainly devotes herself to painting, but also practices drawing, digital engraving, book illustration, poster and logo design, photography and sculpture. She also has experience as a set designer. Margalit's works are made using her own technique on canvas or paper, in an abstract figurative approach with an obvious touch of surrealism. She avoids literalness and directs the viewer towards a magical theatre. In painting, the subject is often only a pretext for colorful resolutions, the most frequently discussed themes being man and his emotions, the act, lyrical eroticism and Judaism.

Margalit has more than thirty major individual exhibitions to her credit and has participated in many important group exhibitions in Poland and around the world. His works can be found in private collections and galleries in Poland and abroad. She is a member of the PositiveArt creative group bringing together artists within the Association of Visual Artists of Poland and the three-person creative group "Bratnie Dusze".

Margalit's work, imbued with poetry and emotion, transcends borders and captivates viewers with her technical mastery and artistic sensitivity. His unique art finds its place in the richness of contemporary expressions, leaving a lasting mark in the Polish and international artistic landscape.
