Marc Knecht is a professional photographer who develops a sensitive approach to the world through the frame of the image, a "double vision" which is revealed in the print.
He is particularly fond of architecture for its geometric lines. Urbex, urban and rural exploration, offers atmospheres in places that are sometimes unusual, mysterious but above all forgotten. It's about keeping traces of stories, of life. He also attaches great importance to travel for contact and discovery. He has traveled and continues to travel Asia, the Caribbean, Europe… Encounters are essential, they give birth to the faces that inhabit the places, in his images.
Marc Knecht born in Rennes in 1962 lives and works in Brittany. Attracted to photography since childhood, he got his first camera when he was 9 years old. Having worked as a photographer specializing in aerial views, he then worked for the Ouest-France newspaper before continuing his photographic research on a personal basis, as an author. He exhibits regularly in designer shows.
