For me, art is a time out from everyday life. There are no rules, no regulations, no pressure to succeed. And that's how my paintings come into being.
That I would ever have something to do with art, I wouldn't have thought until a year ago. From an impulse set by my friend, I bought myself a canvas. It was an attempt to find myself. Through an experienced blow of fate I needed a kind of quiet zone. I found it. As soon as I have made the choice of colour and the size of the canvas, I let my mood carry me. Listening to my heart and giving my emotions a place to unfold is an essential part of my work. Every single piece develops from the first brush stroke until it is finished.
Because while a work of art is being created, the emotional mood also changes.
