Lutokhina Ekaterina is a contemporary Russian painter. Beautiful architecture, people, and nature inspire her, but it's frequently the simplest common things that can communicate an interesting idea or provide a solution. For example, a puddle's reflection, trees, shadows, and wire. She is fascinated by the structure and construction of everything, including power lines, tangles of branches, buildings, and even colors. Lutokhina believes that an artist should be able to see beauty in everything, and that it is his or her job to communicate that interest to the audience.

Lutokhina Ekaterina was born in Russia, where she graduated from the The Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, Department of Monumental Art. She works as a teacher of drawing at the Academy of Architecture and Arts of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation.
