Acrylic on canvas with stretcher - Created during the pandemic, in shades of pink to blues through mauves, purples and greens: a large spiral taking the entire surface and about 5500 concentric circles by 4 which are superimposed on the large spiral except the square in the center in order to leave free the start / end of the spiral, which brings a breakthrough in perspective - positioned in a diamond shape, ie 141 cm for the height and the width. Represents human beings in their diversity all united in the Universe and all possible interpretations according to each Each 'circle' - cell made up of 3 circles and a center - can represent the unit of our choice: an individual or a family, a village , a region,… up to a universe why not… There is an infinity of them… signified by the approximately 5500 circles or points drawn, concentric by 'circles'… In the midst of all the difficulties and misfortunes of this pandemic, j I feel that this has often given a greater awareness of the fundamental unity of Humanity and the Living in general, of the Human in Nature. The spiral is one of the primordial forms (DNA, plant formation etc.) already represented in the primitive arts, so here it brings together all these units ('round'). There are no 'circles' in the center of the canvas in order to clearly see the center of the spiral, which gives a sort of perspective in the sagittal axis, as if crossing the plane of the painting. We are therefore all embarked on this journey of our planet in the multi-universe ...

I am dancer, choreographer and professor of contemporary dance of trade.
Since the age where one starts to hold a pencil, I always continued to draw whatever the circumstances of my life, like a complement and a balancing with my other forms of expression.
I have a dominating taste for the composition and the creativity in themselves. The composition like a combination of spaces, an arrangement of the features, forms, colors, vacuums and the full ones.
These are the arrangements which give direction, they are in themselves my imaginary worlds. Features, spacings, tonalities, colors and their combinations then describe energies, a certain symbolism, or even a “history”, a history impossible to reduce in words, or then a “history” which would comprise a multitude of it, by the glance that each one would carry there. In continuous research, the discovery of a new technique allows me the expression of a different facet. I approach the “white page” as a ludic adventure without a priori, like a freedom to tame each time: first gesture, carried out randomly or first constraint that I am given, until where will I “travel”? At which moment to stop me? To be able to detect the secrecies so that “it goes”… I am in search of a certain balance – until in imbalance sometimes. What there is of commun run with the dance: the research of the gesture “right”, flexible and alive.

I have two works which were published:
“TERRITOIRES IMPROBABLES” - collection of poems and 'oneiric' graphics published by “Les Dossiers d'Aquitaine” - appeared at the beginning of December 2013

“LA DANCE JAZZ ET SES FONDAMENTAUX” – test concerning the specific qualities with this style of dance - edition the Harmattan – 2007
