The title of this piece came from the connection between the Surrealists and their discovery of Freud's theories about the unconscious mind. The suggestion of the analyst's couch, the evocation of the libido, some kind of lunar landscape... perhaps I've said enough/too much.

Louisa Linton is a visual artist from Scotland. Just like Van Gogh, she was amazed and seduced by the light in the south of France and so, in 1984, she decided to settle in Montpellier where she has lived and worked ever since.
Ms Linton holds an B.A. Degree in French from the University of Edinburgh as well as diplomas in Fine Arts and Art Therapy from the University of Montpellier.
After years as an Art Therapist in a centre for children and adolescents with severe learning difficulties, Ms Linton now devotes her time to her own self-expression. She uses her creativity in lots of different ways, including writing, clothes design, gardening and music, but the forms of expression she has been using since she was a child are her favourites: drawing and painting.
