The simple lines of the drawing and the very strong colors (it's fluorescent ink and the colors are stronger in real) make a nice contrast between full and empty. We are born and as we get bigger and bigger, we full ourselves with the world around us. But then all these things leave us empty and we can can go back...
How to treat a difficult and complex subject with simple elements. That is what i tried to do.
Ink drawing on 300g Hähnemühle paper. I used fluorescent ink and it looks more flashy and the effect is more contrasted on the real drawing.

I love drawing portraits. My art is a lot about the ordinary, simple and intimate moments of life, which can be very precious. But also about feelings and emotions, which can be overwhelming. My artworks are mainly based on what I experienced in my own life. The main topics are, for example, the challenges that a woman can face in our society, maternity and motherhood, childhood, faith and spirituality...
But sometimes, when I feel light-hearted, I let me the freedom to draw whatever I want, very spontaneously and without thinking too much, just for the joy of looking at the colors filling the white paper. And from time to time, it turns out to be a very nice artwork!
