“Blind date”
Although I consider myself a generation that, in the absence of a sexual partner, will go for jogging, meet with girl friends, draw something or dig a garden and generally wait until the situation somehow resolves itself and perhaps one day the prince on white horse appears on the threshold of my house...
But this is the most passive position and it does not suit everyone. I quite understand people who know what they want and are actively trying to change their lives. I have quite a few friends tried their luck on various social platforms to find a sexual partner. This is an interesting experience, with a share of risk, excitement and possible luck. Basically, it doesn't make a lot of difference whether it's a blind date or just a first date - anyway it's unknown. We really don't know how everything will turn out: maybe someone will break our hearts, or maybe we will dine someone's feelings.

Хоть я и причисляю себя к поколению, кто в случае отсутствия партнера пойдет на пробежку, встретиться с подругами, чего-нибудь нарисует или перекопает огород и в общем-то будет ждать, что может как-нибудь ситуация рассосётся и какой-нибудь принц на белом коне сам объявиться у порога моего дома… Но это максимально пассивная позиция и она не всем подходит. Я вполне понимаю людей, которые знают чего хотят и активно пытаются изменить свою жизнь. У меня не мало друзей пытали счастья на разных социальных платформах по поиску сексуального партнера. Это интереснейший опыт, с долей риска, азарта и возможной удачи. По сути, нет большой разницы — это свидание вслепую или просто первое свидание – по любому это неизвестность. Мы и вправду не знаем, как все обернется: возможно кто-то разобьёт сердце нам, а может мы отужинаем чьими-то чувствами.

Gouache

The substances are diluted with water and rendered pasty and opaque by the addition of gum and honey. The colors become opaque and can, therefore, be superimposed, which makes one paint with gouache as with oil. The gouache is recommended by its bright, fresh and delicate tones.

Surrealism

Founded in 1923 by the writer André Breton, it will unite many artists like Salvador Dali (1904-1989), Max Ernst, René Magritte (1898-1967), Victor Brauner (1903-1966). Influenced by psychoanalysis, they see psychic life as a new field for renewing the arts. They will develop new ways to create and use new materials.

Technic Drawing

Drawing is a technique of visual representation on a flat support. The term "drawing" designates both the action of drawing, the resulting graphic work, and the shape of any object. It is also a representation on a surface of the shape (and possibly the light and shadow values) of an object or figure, rather than their color. There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

Lithuania

Natalie Levkovska is an experienced Lithuanian painter and illustrator. In 1995, she obtained a degree in stone, bone and wood processing from a master artist (Abramtsevo College of Applied Arts), and in 1999 she completed a degree in costume design (Vilnius Academy of Arts). She then became a costume designer for the cinema industry, and later a fur designer. In 2006, she decided to change her life: she moved to London to work in a design studio, and started to experiment oil painting.

She creates simple and poetic artworks, mixing surrealism and naive art. Her artistic universe is a kind of magic realism: she likes to show real life objects and try to bring out the magical pulsation of space. The plots of her creations are taken from her life: a birch glade near her house at different times of the year, the portrait of a loved one, her village in the snow...

Natalie Levkovska have organized 19 personal exhibitions, participated in a lot of paintings and drawings events, and her drawings can be found in many private collections.
