Yangshao Culture and Grassland. The Yangshao culture was a Neolithic culture which existed in 5000 BC to 3000 BC along the Yellow River in China. It was discovered in 1921.

This painting is a oil painted conceptual artwork with countryside landscape as its background. Blue sky, white cloud, green grassland and a red and yellow subject floating in the sky.

Mr. Yang-Che Liu has devoted his life to artistic creation. Mr. Li Zezhen, a teacher of the past, studied watercolor techniques. In 1966, he entered the Western Art Department of Taiwan National Art Academy. He was inspired by famous teachers such as Li Meishu, Yang Sanlang, Liao Chichun, Hong Ruilin and Liu Wei. For decades, Mr. Yang-Che Liu has focused on printmaking and oil painting. His works have been collected by the French Printmaking Art Museum, the Fukuoka Cultural Center of Japan, the National Museum of History and numerous collectors. He is one of the most outstanding artist of contemporary Taiwan.

Mr. Yang-Che Liu has devoted his life to artistic creation. Mr. Li Zezhen, a teacher of the past, studied watercolor techniques. In 1966, he entered the Western Art Department of Taiwan National Art Academy. He was inspired by famous teachers such as Li Meishu, Yang Sanlang, Liao Chichun, Hong Ruilin and Liu Wei.
