Two Lions welcome the Dawn. A well known sightseeing in Hsinchu City, Taiwan - Yin Hsi East Gate. "Yin Hsi" means "dawn". The wall was originally built with bamboo in 1733, and was rebuilt in 1826 during Qing dynasty. Hsinchu City was originally known as Zhuqian. Yin Hsi East Gate is the only gate that remains. It is now a national monument and a landmark of Hsinchu City as well.

Yang-Che Liu also illustrated two lions in font of the gate, with the sun rising up above this historical architecture.
