Barbara Lombardo nasce ad Augusta nel 1971, diplomata in Maestro d’arte e in Arte applicata presso l’Istituto d’Arte di Siracusa si trasferisce ad Urbino dove si specializza in decorazione conseguendo con il massimo dei voti il diploma all’Accademia di Belle Arti. Vive a Cartoceto (PU) dove alterna il lavoro dal proprio laboratorio all’insegnamento della disciplina arte e immagine nella scuola secondaria di primo grado (cattedra I.C.G.Pascoli Urbino).
La conoscenza tecnica unita alla propria visione artistica ha permesso di incrementare il proprio bagaglio trovando consensi di critiche e pubblicazioni in mostre personali e collettive in gran parte del territorio nazionale.
Le opere dell'artista dimostrano interesse per la natura e si concretizzano in immagini figurative che testimoniano una precisa volontà descrittiva in rapporto ad una più attenta osservazione delle forme naturali e alla figura umana attraverso lo sviluppo di specifiche abilità esecutive, formali ed espressive.
