Ma démarche artistique est centrée le plus souvent par le corps humain. « Plus le monde est pressé, plus l’homme ressent la nécessité d’une peinture les comparant à leur apparence intime ». Mon travail démarre à partir d’un modèle, mais parfois, je laisse mon imagination au gré de mes rêves dont seuls mes voyages nourrissent mon travail et ma réflexion. Ce que j’aime plus particulièrement, ce sont ces silhouettes qui sont en perpétuelles mouvements et qui m’interpellent par leurs courbes que j’enveloppe dans un voile de pudeur, reflétant une atmosphère de douceur. Je tente d’y traduire un sentiment de poésie, une mélodie de l’âme et surtout d’y partager un moment d’intimité. Mon travail va bien au-delà de la simple représentation physique – le corps et l’esprit ne font qu’un – Mais Parfois, Il m’arrive de m’évader pour un paysage ou une nature morte, me laissant une parenthèse avec le temps.
C’est un mélange de figuratif et d’abstrait. Ma peinture est un cheminement intérieur et prend une place importante dans ma vie, un rêve et une passion que je veux partager. Je ne veux séduire quiconque, mon désir avant tout est de peindre, recréer, voir au-delà du visible…..pour l’éternité. Joy Jourdet
