Pierre Boillon is a photographer who has worked in the fields of fashion, advertising and illustration for over 40 years.
After working for several years on the theme of "Resemblances" in nature and publishing a book on this subject, he tried to vary the pleasures by tackling another symbolic subject: water. He approached it in two ways: first in black and white, with macro photos of minute details, then in color, with the evolution of the dyes diffusing in the water. He is now working on black light fluorescent photographs.
Pierre Boillon is an artist based in Toulouse (France). He spent the majority of his work in the studio, creating images in the same artisanal way as a cabinetmaker or blacksmith. He worked with the Getty agency for many years. He now focuses on author photography through exhibitions and the sale of signed and numbered limited edition fine art prints.
