Heureux qui comme moi a fait un long voyage et puis est retourné vivre auprès de ses ancêtres le reste de son âge. Installé à Bannalec depuis plusieurs années, je peux me consacrer au rêve de mes 20 ans : la peinture.
Elle a toujours fait partie de ma vie avec malgré de longs temps morts dus à la carrière professionnelle. J’ai suivi les cours des beaux arts que la vie a interrompus, je reste donc essentiellement autodidacte. Je ne reproduis pas ce que je vois mais ce que je ressens ou imagine. Chaque peinture doit être en moi avant d'être sur toile… Ce que je peins est réel mais dans des situations et contextes différents et mélangés.
Amoureux de la Bretagne, - Eus an Arvor d’an Argoat - de la mer à la terre - de ses sites, histoire et musique, celle-ci est devenue une de mes sources d'inspiration sûrement dues à son côté rude, puissant et un brin mythologique qui m’engage à en souligner les traits dans mes peintures. Vous expliquer celles-ci serait vous priver d’une partie d’un voyage que vous devez faire si ma toile est réussie. Nous ne verrons peut-être pas la même image mais nous serons ensemble en elle.
