About the author
I was born in Herdecke/Westphalia in 1957.
I was already painting when I was at school. But at that time I preferred graphic painting.
I have been practicing watercolor painting intensively since 1997 and acrylic painting since 2006.
I attended a number of advanced training courses at the adult education center in Dillingen and at the painting school in Schwalbach/Saar.
I've been self-taught for a few years. Since then I have had several solo exhibitions and participated in art exhibitions/symposiums in Germany and France.
I find my motifs mainly in the Mediterranean landscapes, e.g. in Spain, southern France and Italy.
My pictures are in private and public ownership in Belgium, Milan, Paris, Hamburg, Kassel, Saarbrücken and Kingston (Tasmania/Australia), F- Chateau des Réaux, Chouzé sur Loire
