L’abstraction tient aussi un rôle important dans mon mode d’expression. Cela me permet d’avoir un sens de l’observation différent : là où apparemment il n’y a rien, apparaissent petit à petit à mes yeux des formes à saisir. Ici en l’occurrence ce sont des portraits qui se présentent ; je les cerne et les travaille.
Ce qui me plaît dans cette forme d’expression, c’est qu’il n’y a pas de place pour la triche. On va à l’essentiel : créer !
La nudité de l’esprit créatif, avec ces fils conducteurs et constructeurs que sont mes membres, que j’utilise comme outils de travail, vient appliquer les matières sur la surface de travail.
J’essaye d’éviter le statisme qui pourrait s’installer en jouant avec le contraste des couleurs utilisées, de façon à donner un rythme. Pour l’utilisation des couleurs, l’aléatoire est également de mise et se maîtrise en fonction de l’esprit du personnage.
L’art peut être un antidote, voire même une thérapie pour certains comme moi.
Les phrases qui conviendraient pour imager cette rencontre avec l'absolu seraient: regarder comment les fleurs se tournent vers le soleil pour avoir leur splendeur et leur éclat de vie, regarder la migration des oiseaux qui parcourent des milliers de kilomètres pour s'accoupler et créer l'infini.
