About the author
Rineke de Jong 's paintings are an amalgamation of spontaneous abstraction and figuration concrete . She starts purely intuitive , even impulsive , to create a chaotic, evocative space. In this color chaos her figures arise. They complete the painting , and she realizes her quest to compromise the abstract and figurative.
Very recently, I started again to paint in the old academic technique of oil painting for portrait and still life. I could not resist it. Specialization: model , portrait, horses , still life .
