Artiste entièrement autodidacte.
Très jeune j'étais attirée par les activités artistiques, et notamment par la peinture à l'huile. Les études, la vie professionnelle et familiale, m'ont très longtemps tenu éloignée de ce rêve, jusqu'à pratiquement me le faire oublier.
Ce n'est qu'en 1999, en découvrant par hasard une petite boutique de matériel beaux arts dans une petite ville de l'Herault, là où les aléas de la vie m'avaient fait poser mes valises, que ce rêve a refait surface avec d'autant plus d'insistance. A cette époque je me suis lancée dans la peinture à l'huile, là aussi en autodidacte. J'y ai pris beaucoup de plaisir durant quelques années puis j'ai à nouveau délaisse cette activité par manque de temps.
En 2010 je fus amenée à découvrir le pastel grâce à mon fils qui a eu cette idée de m'en offrir un coffret.
Je me suis essayée directement au portrait . Le premier fut un véritable combat avec cette poudre, mais quelle émotion quand, petit à petit, à force de caresser ce papier abrasif du bout des doigts, j'ai vu mon modèle commencer à sourire.... Ce fut le déclic, le coup de foudre, et depuis le pastel est une de mes grandes passions.
J'ai fait quelques expos, et notamment lors de la première Biennale du Pastel Grand Sud près de Castelnaudary, en 2013.
J'ai aussi réalisé quelques portraits d'enfants sur commande.
