De 1979, année où je débutais mon apprentissage de la sculpture d'ameublement,1981 année de mon CAP,jusqu'en 1994 je ne pensais pas sculpture en tant que Art, mais seulement comme métier d’ébénisterie, jusqu'au jour où quatre sculpteurs de renommée internationale arrivèrent dans mon petit village Saint Victoret. Quelques jours auparavant quatre gros blocs de marbre de Carrare les avait précédés, et quand ils se mirent à taper dans la masse, que le chant des burins résonna sur la pierre jusqu'à la faire vibrer puis chanter, et que des corps et des courbes commencèrent à sortir des masses informes de ces blocs de marbre, je fus tellement fasciné que ce jour là j’ai trouvé ma voie la SCULPTURE.
