No ano de 2003, após 35 anos afastado da arte, recuperei minha atividade artística por meio da modelagem e pintura de cerâmica, passando em seguida ao Desenho Livre e, em 2005, pintei o meu primeiro quadro a óleo. De lá para cá participei em mais de 100 exposições físicas e virtuais, obtendo inclusive diversos prêmios. Meu estilo preferido é o Realismo, em busca da perfeição dos traços, das proporções e das cores. Hoje, minha produção já acumula várias dezenas de obras. Aos poucos vou-me aperfeiçoando nesta longa caminhada. No ano de 2018 tudo parou por causa da pandemia da COVID-19. Somente no ano de 2022 estou retomando as atividades de pintura, porém num ritmo bastante lento. Outro motivo que me faz diminuir o ritmo é a baixa temperatura que tivemos no nosso inverno (abaixo de 23 graus celsius), que me deixa as mãos endurecidas e sem vontade de pintar. Agora, com o porvir da primavera e verão, aos poucos, as coisas voltarão à sua normalidade.
