В 1969 г. окончил Ташкентское художественное училище им. П. Бенькова (отделение живописи).
В 1974г.- Ташкентскую Гос.Консерваторию по классу дирижирования.
Профессионально занимается живописью более 35 лет.
В своих картинах стремится соединить мгновенное и вечное, два начала.
Сюжеты картин - это сплав вымысла и жизненных ассоциаций.
