Minha infância conviveu com a música e poesia. Viví em contacto com a natureza, fazendas, animais e pássaros.
Iniciei o meu percurso de pintura, no Centro Vidreiro do Norte de Portugal, uma indústria pertencente à nossa família, onde realizava um trabalho autónomo.
Pinto há 20 anos. Também fiz fusão de vidro, cerâmica e artes decorativas, com alunos.
Sempre fiz fotografia, onde obtive alguns prémios.
Desde 2003 que minha pintura foi influenciada pela minha conversão à religião católica. Altura em que me afastei de exposições por três anos. Pintei uma série de obras com temas religiosos e sem fins comerciais.
Actualmente pinto temas e técnicas variadas: acrílico, óleo, aquarela, pastel, encáustica.
Como uma pessoa de fé, a minha pintura não é alheia ao facto, procurando ser coerente em tudo que faço com as minhas convicções religiosas.
