Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of leasing works of art?

  • Financial Flexibility: You can enjoy exceptional, high-value works of art without a large initial investment.
  • Tax Benefits: Receive potential tax benefits as rents can be deducted as a business expense.

How are the prices of monthly payments for leasing works of art set?

  • The costs depend on the value of the work, the duration of the leasing contract, and any services included such as installation.

Can we buy the work after the leasing period?

  • Yes, on Artmajeur leasing contracts offer a purchase option at the end of the contract, allowing customers to acquire the work at a determined price (residual value).

How are the safety and insurance of works managed?

  • Insurance during the duration of the rental contract is the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore important to check the details of your insurance contract to be sure that your leased works are covered in the event of damage.

  • Unless there are specific conditions, leasing contracts for works of art commit the client to payment of the entire price of the work; payments are therefore due until the end of the lease.

ANDREA VACCARO was born in Pallanza (VB) on July 21, 1939. He lives and works in Legnano (MI). His first public personal exhibition, launched when he was only fifteen, was organized by professor ARNALDO POVOLI, headmaster of his Legnano higher secondary school, and a great art scholar. More exhibitions took place in the succeeding years at the important Milan art galleries PONTE ROSSO and IL VERTICE. In the early ’Eighties, a series of expositions realized through the Italian Institutes of Culture at various Italian embassies made Vaccaro’s name known throughout Europe, from Stockholm to Paris and Amsterdam, from Prague to Zagreb, to Split and Beograd. It was during these same ’Eighties that Vaccaro joined the “Transavanguardia” movement. (“Trans-avant-garde”). Nowadays, twenty years later, Vaccaro reacts to this movement’s mercantile degeneration with his own personal movement: “ritorno all’umano” (back to the human concept). Within this frame, the artist feels free to range from figuration to abstraction, and to experiment with ever new techniques, such as, for instance, wood on wood. Being an art scholar himself, Vaccaro has been maintaining a correspondence with personalities of culture and journalism from all over the world. The lately exhibited drawings he did between the years ’Forties and ’Fifties (from age five to age thirteen) bear witness to the precociousness of his artistic talent and met with remarkable success. The expositions were followed by important articles and books, such as the one made by the VERBANIA MUSEO DEL PAESAGGIO (Landscape Museum). Vaccaro realized hundreds of personal exhibitions, and his “art graphics” activity made his name and works known all over Italy through the art editions of Ricordi, Rizzoli Finarte, Edizioni d’Arte Angolare, Italiana Arte, Arte Idea, Dialoghi Clubs, and more. Next exposition will be in the prestigious “Teatro Cantoni” of Legnano in march 2007. Here is a list of some of the newspapers that published articles about his work: IL CORRIERE DELLA SERA – IL GIORNALE - L’OSSERVATORE ROMANO – IL GIORNO – LA PREALPINA – LOMBARDIA OGGI – TUBANTIA – IL BORGHESE – LA VOCE DEL POPOLO DI ZAGABRIA – SLOBODNA DALMACIJA – VJESNIK ZAGABRIA – VOCE DEL POPOLO DI FIUME – SVENSKA DAGBLADET – KOMUNIST BELGRADO – POLITIKA BELGRADO – TELEVIZETAIJA BELGRADO – KULTURA ZARA – ROMANIA LITERARA – LUMEA – ECO DEL VERBANO.
