Né en 1979, à Charleroi, il passe son enfance isolé au sein du poumon vert de cette région.
Dès son plus jeune âge, il y étudie et perfectionne le judo tout en faisant de longues excursions sylvestres.
Après avoir suivi des études d’art et d’Histoire de l’Art à Bruxelles, Frédéric Bastin nourrit son dialogue intérieur :
son musée imaginaire est composé d’artistes tel que Henri Matisse, Yves Klein, ou encore Jean Miotte
mais également d’une autre culture venant d’orient.
Depuis 2006, il s’implique activement dans le milieu de la promotion des arts en tant que consultant.
Il crée une Asbl Globe Tortt’Art et tente de joindre sa passion pour le dialogue, la promotion et et l’art à l’étranger.
Après 10 ans de recherches, d’études il ferme cette parenthèse et reprend ses activités artistiques.
