About the author
Julia Zisman graduated from the Russian Academy of Arts, faculty of Easel Painting and Graphics in 1989.
In 1991 she left her home country of Russia and settled in Haifa, Israel. She has been a member of the Israeli Union of Painters and has been an active participant of collective exhibitions organized by the Union of Painters since her arrival.
The personal exhibitions are placed in numerous private gallerias and cultural centers in all parts of the country. These exhibitions usually have huge publicity and have resulted in very warm comments from the audience. The works are in many private collections in Israel and several other countries. Julia works with different materials and techniques such as oil and watercolor painting, black and white graphics and batik.
