About the author
Originaire des Deux-Sèvres, Christine Goubon peint « depuis l'âge de 10 ans ». « Déjà au couteau et à l'huile », précise-t-elle. Dès 10 ans, elle « apprend les couleurs, les primaires, avec lesquelles, j'ai pu créer ma palette de couleurs ».
Des toiles grand format qui expriment « le mouvement, la couleur, la joie de vivre », explique Christine Goubon qui, après une longue période sans peindre, a repris les pinceaux en 2007, suite à un « déclic » et un lourd problème de santé. « J'ai repris la peinture à ce moment-là, j'ai eu de nouveau envie de peindre pour signifier que la vie est belle ».
Des couleurs vives, « beaucoup de rouge et d'orangé évoquent la fête, tout ce qui est gai », dans ses peintures.
L'artiste se « lâche. Ma peinture est instinctive, elle sort de mon imaginaire, je ne sais jamais vers quoi je vais ». La chaleur de l'Espagne, les couleurs de la campagne, le mouvement de la mer... sont autant de sources d'inspiration pour cette artiste habitée par l'envie d'être en vie et de la partager, cette envie.
