Le premier contact qu' il m été donné d' avoir avec le monde de l'art fut sans aucun doute la lecture des romans
de Jules Vernes. C' est un personnage assez extraordinaire, qui n' a jamais voyagé, mais doté d' une imagination exceptionnelle.
j' aime beaucoup ses illustrations. Vers la vingtaine je me mis à faire quelques dessins à l' encre de Chine, quelques peu fantasmagoriques, Ensuite je m' essaye à la peinture à l' huile vers les années 1985, et me prends d' une grande passion pour le surréalisme, et tout ce qui est un peu décalé, spirituellement parlant. . Mes peintres fortement inspirateurs sont Dali, Bosch,chirico, Delvaux, Tanguy, j' en oublie, les plus grands peintres de la renaissance, et aussi les peintres primitif s italiens et flamands, car je trouve leurs peintures naives et surrealistes, j' aime aussi la poésie surréaliste, Eluard, soupault, et bien d' autres, et surtout Isidore Ducasse, nommé monsieur le comte de Lautréamont, qui me fait penser à Claude Debussy, tout ceci n' est que métaphore, qui pour moi est une lutte artistique et mentale entre le visible et l' invisible, ou personne ne gagne.
