PHILO VADES artiste peintre né à OSTENDE (BELGIQUE) en 1958 se lance dans la peinture en 1982 tout en poursuivant ses études académique à BRUXELLES.
Essentiellement le dessin était son premier parcours,avec une approche de la peinture à l'huile.Il faut dire que dans les années '80 PHILO fût bassiste dans un groupe du nom d'APRIL FOOLS (RNR) tout en dessinant en parallèle.
C'est dans les années '90 qu'il reviens dans un autre style de peinture,mais pas encore le sien.
C'est lors d'une escapade à LONDRES que le déclic se réalise,le nouveau PHILO VADES nous arrive avec une nouvelle technique et s'engage dans une aventure artistique propre à lui,la rapidité,la maîtrise,et son imagination débordante nous plonge dans un univers Abstrait dite semi/figuratif,de Symbolisme ,d'Irréelle.
Installer depuis 2006 dans le Sud de la France,son art ne fait que s'accroître au vue par de nombreuses expositions nationales et internationales
