Sa première récompense fut un 1er prix de dessin à l'école primaire, ceci influença sans doute cela et depuis les crayons ne furent jamais éloignés de ses mains.
Traversant son existence l'art le poursuivit avec insistance, portraitiste ou graphiste, photographe ou plasticien, il ne s'exprime viscéralement qu'à travers lui.
Depuis 1994 et suite à un grave accident, il abandonne sa passion de la compétition sportive (triathlon) et se consacre presque exclusivement au dessin, à la peinture et à la sculpture.
Ne se contentant pas de voyager sans complexe à travers les différentes facettes de l’expression graphique, il se plait à faire partager ses passions : après une dizaine d’années d’animation de « clubs photos », il anime depuis bientôt 20 ans différentes associations artistiques.
Distribuant conseils et savoir faire, les cours et stages prennent désormais une partie de son temps.
Installé dans la quiétude du Var depuis début 2001, c’est au rythme de la Provence qu’il continue de donner ses cours de peinture au sein d'Art en Var et de dessin à Art-Bandol.
Une autre page se tourne : après 10 d'animation au sein de Art-En-Var, il est temps de prendre un peu de recul et de recentrer la création autour de MON travail.
Je n'abandonne pas mes élèves, mais je ne les suivrais plus hebdomadairement.
