Pero no fue sino por esas cosas que tiene el destino, se instaló en Burriana, donde pronto tomaría clases de dibujo y pintura de la mano de, por aquel entonces, prestigiosos artistas de ámbito local, de quienes aprende distintas técnicas pictóricas, amén de esa soltura con el pincel y la espátula que tantos suspiros obliga.
Su diversa y prolífera obra confirma la gran pasión que siente por este arte, y en sus pinturas plasma una realidad cotidiana, donde protagonistas son los objetos que diariamente la envuelven, los paisajes que han conformado su propia historia particular, mostrando una fidelidad realista, una aguda observación de la naturaleza, de escenas cotidianas que no podrían estar teñidas con la poetización.
Aunque lleva mostrando su obra desde finales de la década de los setenta, no es hasta 1982 que toma la alternativa real, exponiendo su trabajo en distintos centros y galerías de la comarca, Valencia y Barcelona.
