Compiuti gli studi artistici a Catania e Palermo, dal 1958 svolge un'intensa attività artistica maturando molteplici esperienze di lavoro e di rielaborazione della cultura antica e contemporanea.
Ha esposto in numerose mostre collettive e personali e il suo iter artistico è ricco di riconoscimenti e premiazioni.
Sue opere si trovano in collezioni pubbliche e private in Italia e all'estero.
