Alena Masterkova is a painter, mosaic and textile artist.
Alena Masterkova was born and lives in Moscow.
In 2000 she graduated from the St. Tikhon Theological Institute, faculty of monumental painting, workshops of A.D. Kornoukhov and E.N. Maksimov, specialization - muralist.
In 2007 she was admitted to the Moscow Union of Artists.
In 2000 - 2020 worked as an independent mosaic artist on author's mosaics
projects, including the author's project of mosaic design of the complex
Novo-Alekseevsky convent (Moscow).
In 2017-2018 created the author's textile project "Unicornarte" (a series of silk scarves based on the medieval art of Europe), also developed designs for other brands.
In 2019-2020, she participated in the mosaic decoration of the church of St. Sava Serbian in Belgrade.
Since 2020, she has been working mainly as a painter.
Since 2004 she has regularly participated in exhibitions.
