Go Segawa is a contemporary award-winning Japanese visual artist. Painting and sculpture are combined in Segawa's work. The compositions reflect a virtual aesthetic developed via computer by toying with geometrics and dimensions. The artist begins by drawing with acrylic or graphite on plexiglass sheets. The sheets are then superimposed, resulting in a three-dimensional sculpture.
Go Segawa was born in 1970, in Japan, where he received a Fine Arts degree from Nihon University in Tokyo. Segawa then moved to France where he graduated from the Rennes School of Fine Arts, and finally he completed his PhD on aesthetics, science, and art technology at University Paris 8. He lives and works in Paris.
