J ai débuté une pratique artistique il y a 40 ans par des collages et des peintures acryliques de manière autodidacte.J ai ensuite rejoint l atelier du peintre Claude Le Boul à Montreuil ou j ai travaillé le nu pendant une dizaine d années.J ai participé a de nombreuses expositions en région parisienne avant de partir m installer dans le Lot ou je vis et ou j ai mon atelier.Je continue a pratiquer le dessin de nu(au pastel et craie sèche) dans un atelier collectif,ce qui permet de croiser de nombreux modèles-hommes et femmes-et leur intéressante diversité.Les croquis,souvent rapides,pris sur le vif que je réalise sont une base que je retravaille ensuite a la peinture acrylique avec différents outils.Je me reconnais dans le mouvement expressioniste historiquement en réaction contre l 'académisme et la société,aujourd'hui en réaction contre l image du corps véhiculé par la publicité et la mode: image lisse,propre,sans défaut et sans émotion: désincarné.Je tente de représenter la complexité humaine par la transgression,la subjectivité,la rature,le défaut,le repentir,en espérant toucher et émouvoir.
